Background

By asking the body to move in new ways also asks the mind to explore unknown places. Asana allows me to develop the mind-body connection.

Since 2015, this has inspired me to deepen my yoga knowledge and practice through self-study, movement, and reflection. In addition to years of dedicated practice, I am Yoga Alliance registered through my LAAIC, Love and All Is Coming 200-hour teaching certificate from my devoted teacher, Talia Sutra. In April 2025, I will complete the LAAIC 300-hour teaching certificate in Rishikesh, India.

Originally from Massachusetts, USA, I have lived in 9 countries over the last 15 years, so I consider myself a wandering migrant. My fluent languages are English, Italian, and Spanish; I’m currently learning Norwegian. While ‘home’ emanates from my inner being, I have physically settled between Norway and Italy with my husband of 14 years and our beautiful cat. While I work in academic research, my free time consists of enjoying nature, wine, and travel.

In 2022, I was drawn to start sharing what I have learned so far through teaching. This includes asana (physical postures) based on the Ghosh lineage with influences from Ashtanga, as well as pranayama (breathing techniques) and meditation. My personal practice also includes yin yoga.

My aim is to help others find ease and contentment in their lives. Yoga has touched every aspect of life from my outlook, reactions, patience, sleep, energy levels, concentration, and overall temperament. I no longer overthink or worry about things beyond my control, or replay moments over and over in my mind. My life is simpler, making me feel light, free, and content with the everyday. I enjoy life and am able to foster and spread joy. This is what I want to share with you.
